Compressor
The pump that circulates refrigerant through the cooling circuit.
The compressor is the heart of the refrigeration circuit. Samsung uses Digital Inverter Compressors that run variably for efficiency. We test compressor windings, inverter drive signals and start components to determine whether the compressor or its control has failed.
Main Control Board (PCB)
The electronic board that coordinates all fridge subsystems.
The main PCB manages compressor, fan, defrost, ice and water systems. We perform board-level diagnostics on power rails, relay outputs and sensor inputs to decide between board repair and replacement.
Temperature & Defrost Sensors
Thermistors that feed temperature data to the control board.
Samsung fridges use multiple thermistors to manage cooling and defrost. A drifted or open sensor causes wrong temperatures and error codes. We read sensor resistance against temperature and replace faulty sensors.
Evaporator & Condenser Fans
Fans that move cold air inside and cool the compressor outside.
The evaporator fan circulates cold air across the compartments; the condenser fan cools the compressor. A failed fan causes uneven cooling and compressor overheating. We test motors, bearings and control signals.
Defrost Heater
The heater that melts frost off the evaporator coil.
The defrost heater clears frost from the evaporator on a timed cycle. A failed heater causes ice build-up and a warm fridge. We test the heater, thermal fuse and defrost sensor and restore the defrost cycle.
Thermostat / Temperature Control
The control that sets and holds target temperatures.
Samsung electronic thermostats and controls manage target temperatures. A faulty control can hold the compressor on too long or not at all. We test control inputs and outputs and repair or replace the control.
Ice Maker Assembly
The assembly that produces, harvests and stores ice.
The Samsung ice maker assembly includes the mould, heater, ejector and sensor. We test the full harvest cycle and the water path to restore ice production.
Water Inlet Valve
The solenoid valve that controls water into the ice maker and dispenser.
The water inlet valve opens to fill the ice maker and dispenser. A failed or weeping valve causes no ice, no water, or leaks. We test coil resistance and valve operation and replace as needed.
